I would prefer that, yeah. But the healing thing we only know for sure about Kira, right? We've never seen Sarah recover from any serious injury and Helena I assumed was just tough anyway. Then she got lucky because of her reversed organs.
This plot point hasn't been brought up in the show since the S1 finale, hope they plan on exploring it further soon.
