There is always have a chance.
There have been boards that have campaigned for years, like 5+, and have finally gotten a board.
All it takes is dedication.
To add to what Lindsay said, usually a campaign will send out a 'please vote' reminder PM at the begining of the month if the show/celeb makes it onto the poll. We are only allowed to send those PMs once a month and only to people who are on the campaign list. However, we are allowed to send a one time PM to encourage people to join the campaign.
But they should be sent to people on lists that are related to the show. So for example visiting the Ben board and seeing if they have a Gotham thread, pming those people. Or maybe they have a general Ben thread, we can PM those. We could also PM the postsers listed on the Gotham spoiler thread etc. Basically we're not allowed to harass/spam people.
Another good way to get the word out is sigs, icons etc.
Those posters look amazing.
BTW I saw this posted on LJ...Gotham will be screened at Comic Con with a panel to follow.
