Cheerios when watching the movie I could not believe how self centered Logan was, he respected every inch around Veronica. He never made a move. And I agree that he was happy with his life, more than what it seems Veronica was with hers.
And I loveddd his face when Veronica tells him to take the long way home.
That I believe gave him a 'hint' of hope, that's why he looked surprised after the fight when he saw Piz was again with Veronica, and that's why he had to ask her the next day.
