I didn't say that Mary knew about the plague before she told Francis about the baby.
I just honestly don't think Catherine will care whether Mary knew about the plague or not. I think she will still blame Mary for Francis being out of the castle when it struck. Fairness and reason when it comes to her children is not her strong suit.
