I wonder if they'll explain what happened to his "alter ego" since he always sad he didn't want to be a "living" vampire. Is that officially gone because he died? Is he still the most powerful vampire?
But it's somehow beautiful that Damon also died for Alaric.
I hope until Damon is back we get some nices scenes where he's talking about him.
