Here's a few more deets on what they're actually looking for in extras:

Amerifilm Casting and Media, LLC:
Here's a more official posting for the Extras needed in Montauk: THE AFFAIR – SHOWTIME DRAMA
BACKGROUND EXTRAS WANTED

SHOWTIME’s THE AFFAIR is coming back to shoot in Montauk May 27-June 6. This show stars Ruth Wilson, Dominic West, Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson.

There are several scenes that we hope we can populate with local faces – fisherman and women (comfortable on the dock, with fishing gear), diner patrons, farmer’s market vendors and buyers (might you really be a vendor?), surfers (maybe not even really surfing, just the look), and people to ride the Block Island Ferry (several times!) People to look like locals and people to look like tourists. Children also may be needed but beware that it will film during school hours.

Filming does usually take several hours; it will depend on the scenes each day. They can start as early as 6 or 7:00 AM, and go into the night. You will be instructed what types of clothes to bring to fit the scenes. It will be mostly casual summer clothes, but most important is
NO LOGOS.

If interested, you must have government issued ID to be paid through a payroll company and have taxes deducted. You will have to bring to work either a valid US Passport, OR 2 other forms, e.g. valid Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Social Security card, Voter ID or Military card.

Pay will start at minimum wage – and guaranteed for 11 hours. So the least you will be paid is $100.00. You will get that for any amount of time you are clocked in up to 11 hours. If you work beyond 11 hours (in 1 day) you will get an additional $12.00 per hour.
If you are really interested and available – please email a snapshot to amerifilmcasting@yahoo.com and write MONTAUK LOCAL in the subject line. Please add a note as to if you are available every day and any time in that time period or only specific dates or times. There are some scenes/days where people can work more than one day.

Once you commit to work you really do need to show up on time and stay until they release you.

You can also add in your note if you fit any certain type specifically listed above. And add a note as to if you have a car, jeep or truck or boat (describe), or a bicycle.

Include your phone number as well, and say if email or phone is preferable for communication.
Thank you!
