I found this article from last week and I think that's the most ideal place to post it considering it's a bit spoilery.

NBC's hit TV show 'Revolution' filming in East Texas

RUSK, TX (KETK) — NBC's hit TV show 'Revolution' is shooting a full episode this week in Rusk. This will be the first half of the season finale, and who knows, you might see someone you know in the background! 'Revolution' is science fiction TV show that takes place 15 years after the start of a worldwide blackout.

Crews will be shooting a full episode Monday through Thursday at the Texas State Railroad. There was a casting call looking for fit men and women with military and law enforcement background. "Its really great for us and we're hoping it signals the start of the return of film and production work to the railroad on a much more regular basis," said Janet Gregg, marketing director for the railroad, and she also said this will be the next to last episode of the season.

However, its not the first time these trains have been on the big screen. Gregg said, "the Texas State Railroad has a very rich history of doing film and TV production work." Back in October the TV show used footage of a 1917 steam engine at the park in Rusk. After that Gregg said they contacted her "because it had been such a good experience, they wanted to expand on the whole train thing, and do more with the train." This time around, the steam engine will be a huge part of the episode. Gregg told KETK that it was a such a big part, it could even be considered one of the characters.

She also said the excitement has built throughout the past two weeks as crews have arrived, and started preparing for the filming. "Its exciting to see just all that goes into it, I mean it took them, they were here for a week to build the set, its amazing how quickly they build it," said Gregg. The actors arrived late Sunday, and will be staying in Palestine.

Set designers are building a depot, guard towers, bunkers, and gates, and starring one local hardware store. Harry's Building Materials in Rusk is providing all of the supplies to the set designers. "They could've bought it out of town, they could've brought it in from Dallas or Houston, but they chose to purchase here locally so we definitely appreciate that from them," said Robby Tosh, vice president of Harry's. He also said this is benefiting his employees and community, "there's no doubt its helping them, plus the local economy."

The filming at the Texas State Railroad started on Monday (march 24th) and finished on Thursday (march 27th).

Out of curiosity, the main characters that were seen in this city (Rusk) during the last week were Charlie, Miles, Gene, Tom, Connor and Bass.

And according to Elizabeth Mitchell, they are wrapping up the final episodes. They have more five days on the set.
