I see her being hugged by her parents in the promo in dark clothing, so at least that's something. But it just seemed...I don't know, hasty? Not well thought out? Unlike Will's deliberately sudden and unresolved death, which comes across as much more carefully crafted by the writers, in order to deliberately cause that emotion of shock and grief and unresolved feelings. No one was out of character, no one was unsympathetic, and no one was completely in the right and TOTALLY sympathetic either. It was very realistic.
TGW is a generally better show, though. I was saying to someone elsewhere, how much better Peter and Alicia are handled than Fitz and Mellie. TGW is to some extent the slow dissolution of a marriage, and the writers, Julianna, and Chris deserve immense praise that it remains compelling instead of me wanting to tear my hair out like with Fitz and Mellie, lol.
