Hmmmm, something just occurred to me, might shed some light..ish.. If Claire was to permanently be off the show, I wonder why the powers that be didn't have something more permanent happen to Rebekah? That white oak dagger for example? Just a thought.. I think that if something "non-lethal" happens to the character, the chances for his/her return are possible.. Even though it still seemed fishy.. Anyway, my two cents..
