I agree with you on this
I was just going to suggest a thread for guest/recurring stars, a lot of TV boards have them. And we also have a Jesus/Emma thread, so people can always talk about her in there too.
I prefer to just have character threads for the permanent cast members, being guest stars it can be up in the air how long they will be around.
A Jude and Mariana thread is a good idea though
