I can kind of see where he is coming from. I think in general men are not too keen on sex with a woman pregnant with their brother's child.
And I also think that this is the reason they are dragging this thing out. It gives us a good storyline that they can teas us with for a long time, and it keeps us coming back for more, and in hope of getting more.
The baby has to be born at some point, and as I don't see anything romantic between Klaus and Haylay, Elijah and Haylay is fair game without the triangle. Sort of. Still have the daddy issues Klaus is bound to have. Just my two cent.
