Tough loss for Richie.
Ana defeated Samantha Stosur 6-7(8), 6-4, 6-2.
Good win for Ana, who did a good job of rebounding after blowing the first set.
On the other hand, it's another early exit from Sam Stosur in the Aussie Open.
Also Fabio Fognini defeated Sam 7-5, 6-4, 6-4.
Tough loss for Sam, who damages Team USA's remote chances on the men`s side.
So that's the story from the late matches in Melbourne. Coming up on
Day 6 later tonight, Maria will take on Alize Cornet in the first match of the day at Rod Laver Arena followed by Fed and Caroline, while Aga Radwanska, Sloane Stephens and Jelena Jankovic. Plus we`ll have some pretty intriguing looking matches. First of all, Jo-Wilfried will face Gilles Simon in a matchup between two of the French Connection's top stars. Also Andy Murray will play Feli, Milos Raonic will take on Grigor Dimitrov and Donald Young will face Kei Nishikori. Plus Vika will play Yvonne Meusburger and Rafa will take on Gael in the evening session at Rod Laver Arena.
