I've had Sam issues since the pilot...and it's because he's always so hard on Dean. Yes Dean did wrong, but instead of blaming him why not take a minute to try to understand where he's coming from. I can understand why Dean was conflicted with this, first off it's his Sammy. MUST PROTECT SAMMY has been drilled into his head for years. Secondly, just minutes/hours before all this Sam had decided to LIVE for Dean, to give up closing the gates of hell and live because Dean asked him too. Sam's 180 makes no sense.
