What I like about Game of Thrones is the possibility of shipping many different characters and crossing the fingers for them not to die. Often a show has 1 to 3 good main characters but Game of Thrones unites more than 10 phenomenal main characters and even the recurring ones have more personality than some main characters of other shows. Game of Thrones is so rich of their characters.
Dany really proved this season that she's the blood of the dragon.
