I think it was actually interesting to see Ward slightly jealous! I mean, YES, he was upset with Skye. But he REALLY wanted for Skye's "guy" to be a bad guy. He seemed glad to tell Skye about the guy's ill doings.
Also, I loved that Ward said "I believe her" even when Coulson and everyone else was doubting her. He believed in her.
And did you notice that when they went to save Coulson, after Ward fought the bad guys, he grabbed her hand? That was a sweet touch.
I love that this whole thing happened EARLY on. I'd rather everything is out in the open from the start. Ward already knows Skye's biggest fears like being abandoned. He knows that she was an orphan. He just needs to find out soon that she is looking for her parents.
