I see her reaction as what I understand many woman feel...that it is their fault and her fear seems pretty reasonable considering what Bates said to her..."he's a dead man."....Yikes!

I do like their scenes together, but I'd like to hear or feel Mary regarding him as a brother. Like last week when Rose introduced him as my cousin, Tom (not my cousin's husband, but "my cousin")
