I think when the show started out, Charlie was supposedly 18 or 19. The show has aged her a bit, but they can't make her older than early 20's because her mom is roughly contemporary with Miles & Monroe, so Rachel's mid-40's at least. There would be a minimum of 20-yr gap between Charlie and Monroe, but probably a little more.
