There has been a significant amount of time for the script to change. Like, during the cafeteria scene the "fire will go near the moth" line wasn't in the side nor is the "cute little lump of wool". It probably got taken away from the time Jim was interviewed by Ausiello and the last scene take from the taping.
I just love how they were simply able to make the last part of the episode endearing without being too sappy and still keeping the Sheldony aspect.

Oh, and the "If you do that I will scream" moment. OMG THAT WAS HILARIOUS.
I can't wait to see the monkey test scene and the facial expressions! Jim's good with physical comedy so this excites me a lot!
