Ya know what I think. See the writers jammed M/M and M/L down our throats so much in s1, it was like they had no intentsion to show that the aliens had real feelings by not letting them experience more. Like if they had Michael and Liz hanging out more, I think alot of people would have liked that, cuz not only would that be awesome, it would have gave Michael his human side he was never wanting.
But then again it always comes back to the writers are stupid brainless men
