I think Bill and Fleur had a very happy and fulfilling life together, once they got through the active grief for Bill's brother and their friends. I think they probably had that newlywed phase, that was interrupted because of opening their home to the trio, Luna, Dean, etc., during the 2 years between the final battle & Victoire's birth (May 2nd, 2000). Shell Cottage was probably very lively when Victoire, Dominique, & Louis were small children.
