If all this is just to beat the crap out of the characters to leave them with basically nothing but grief to look forward to then it was pointless. And JB's response to people and HH was fcking disgusting. He laughed at her pain. That gives me hope that it does get turned around at the last minute. So Skins can sit back and say 'what? we gave you a positive ending. Wasn't the angst worth it?'
