Straight men are only allowed in Hollywood to get teary-eyed when they've done something wrong.
It's one of those unwritten rules that allows people who accept all forms of alternate life-styles to have any resonance with the rest of the country that doesn't condone drug use, casual (and worse) sex, and the O.J. Simpson case without ruining the industry.
So Wade may get teary eyed, but we'll never see the tear-drop fall. We'll only feel it deeply in our hearts.
