I like to ask those questions no one asks, in an attempt to get the 'best' or most objective view on something. Makes people think. I find it the best way to really get someone to open up or realize something.

a conversation with only one side is not a conversation at all. Sometimes, we need to be challenged to really articulate our thoughts. And sometimes we need to hear the other side of an argument to see we didn't think it through. So you're only doing them a favor
