I believe I said this before. I thought Emma was losing edge after 2x03. But then she met Hook and it's like the old Emma was back.
This is I think the main reason why I enjoy CS, because there's no angst or insecurity in the dynamic, just two extremely badass people who challenge each other and keep the other on their toes.
