Cheryl Cole (born Cheryl Ann Tweedy) is an English singer and member of the band Girls Aloud.
Originally from Newcastle and representing her Geordie background proudly,
she was the first person to be chosen for Girls Aloud on the reality show "Popstars: The Rivals."
The group has gone on to be one of the most successful British pop groups of all time, and the most successful British girl band of the past decade.
They are celebrating their ten year anniversary with a nationwide Ten Tour,
which follows the release of a greatest hits album "Ten" including 3 all-new tracks.
Cheryl's third studio album will be A Million Lights,
was released June 18, 2012. It follows 3 Words from 2009,
and Messy Little Raindrops from 2010.
