So, how was Loki, as a baby, able to transform into a regular looking Æsir baby? Was he born with his shape-shifting ability? Did he sense in Odin something he never felt from Laufey that made him subconsciously change to mirror what he saw? Growing up as a child, he learned to fear/hate the Frost Giants so his conscience would never let him change back into one. He only changed back momentarily when a Frost Giant grabbed him. Or did Odin do the transformation? It would have to have been a very powerful spell because Loki never once detected it, not even with all of his knowledge/magical abilities. Yes, his Frost Giant visage returned after the battle at Jotunheim/he found out he was an FG, but he was always able to return back to his Æsir form. It was never clear in the first movie who did what, so I want Loki and Odin to sit down and have a heart to heart in TDW!
