It was okay but the entire book was just the initiation tests and they are what bored me because nothing really happened. Then when they were initiated things happened out of the blue. I didn't really get into it til the last 5 chapters but I'm still gonna read Insurgent. I didn't find the Tris/Tobias relationship as intense as everyone said it was. Just a few run ins they had and looks they gave each other which resulted in a kiss way later in the book.

isnt intense...that's why I like ... because it is not sweet, nor romance, nor cheezy, not cloying, or such revolting! (people like that, I dont much)
the screenwriter himself said in an interview, the important thing is how the relationship should grow gradually through the tests!
clearly, although I'm not finished yet, i entirely sure the saga is not a masterpiece at all.
but it gets more interesting in insurgent!
