Season two returns with fast-talking New Yorker Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), whose carefully planned life as a cardio-thoracic surgeon in New York City somehow went awry. Zoe is now officially a general practitioner in tiny BlueBell, Alabama, where the neighbors take care of one another, the mailman knows your name, there’s a parade every Tuesday…but the townsfolk still aren’t quite sure what to make of Dr. Zoe Hart. Yet she won’t let that discourage her from being the best GP in the country.

Last season, arriving in quaint, picturesque Bluebell, Zoe warmed to town golden boy, George Tucker (Scott Porter), and clashed with Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson). Zoe’s presence will continue to cause friction with Brick’s daughter Lemon (Jaime King) -- the sweet southern belle that struggles to keep things civil with Zoe, especially after George calls off his wedding with Lemon, and all of BlueBell blames Dr. Hart.

Zoe lives in the guesthouse of her best friend and Bluebell’s mayor, Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams), her confidant and steadfast supporter. Next door, local bad-boy and mischievous charmer Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) sparks a little fire within Zoe that leads to romance, despite the torch she carries for George.

General Spoilers;
Anyway, according to Wilson Bethel, there’s plenty in store this season for this pair. “Zoe and Wade fans will be pleased to see where this season is going,” he says. “It’s not all roses by any means, but it’s a lot of fun Zoe-and-Wade stuff. For fans who’ve picked that side in the love triangle, they’ll be pleased.” [source]

ampdalejr89: Any good George and Zoe scoop? I'm DYING for something on them. Please and thank you. #hartofdixie

We'd ask you for your definition of good, but who are we kidding? You aren't going to like this next bit of info, but we're going to share it anyway! Could Zoe be getting a new love interest? The CW charmer is currently casting the likeable, sexy and charismatic Jonah, a surgeon-in-training who is in town visiting family. While he initially comes off as a little cocky (he is a former fratboy after all), Jonah also has a vulnerable side. So he's a surgeon, like Zoe, and is a bad boy with a sensitive side? Yeah, Wade and George should definitely be worried, especially when you factor in that Jonah will be sticking around for a bit. [source]

Question: I need some Hart of Dixie news involving Zade (Zoe and Wade). Hit me with your best shot. —Kris
Ausiello: You may end up trading Zade for Jade, if Travis Van Winkle catches on as Lemon and Brick’s cousin — and Wade’s potential competition for Zoe — Jonah. “He is a really fun character — a conceited, arrogant Southern boy,” teases exec producer Leila Gerstein. “You can think of him as a young Brick Breeland. He gets in Zoe’s face, and there’s conflict ahead.” And even further ahead, potentially romance. But, Gerstein swears, “There won’t be anything like that, certainly, for awhile.” [source]
