All I got from this episode is that Damon and Elena's scenes were really hot. They do ooze chemistry.
Also, it is quite interesting, that Caroline can't accept Elena as a vampire, a bit like Matt couldn't handle Caroline when she turned. Stefan is trying to fix her to be like she was when she was human. I did feel a bit bad for Elena when she spilled it out to Damon.
I'm not really buying the blood sire thing, hasn't Damon's blood turned others before, and it never was an issue before. Also, Elena has had feelings for Damon for 2 seasons now, are the writers trying to erase that by this sire bond? They have had long build up, it's BS to think that Elena as "un-sired" would not want Damon. There was no sire bond in 3x19.
