I think it's natural to have a small worry about the bubble bursting, when you're used to life pulling the rug from underneath you, and like with all issues, they need to be adressed so they don't become a big deal. I like the way the conversation just reaffirmed the fact that they are happy together and whatever comes their way, they will deal with it.
I adored that quick kiss before they parted, obviously the hand-caressing at the dinner table, not to mention that wonderful hug when she honestly thought she had lost him
