I know, she truly has changed the most in the end out of all the characters.
It's really sad though that she died of a broken heart, physically and emotionally. Physically because there was something wrong with her heart, and emotionally because her boyfriend left her and made her raise Amy on her own. Poor girl.
All she ever wanted throughout the series was to be loved.
