I don't think Scott actually ever stopped caring what happened to Isaac he just didn't trust him to make the right choices. It seemed like all Isaac was looking for was power, just like Derek, but once they were on the same side it was nice to see them start to care and watch each others backs. The finale when Scott went to help Isaac after he'd been attacked by Allison
I adore them so much in the last 2 episodes.
