This. The writing for the show was pretty lazy by the time, so it's not too surprising to me that they went for the cheap storyline instead of going for the storyline that could've had substance and quality. When I look back on it, while I didn't care for the Nanny Carrie storyline, the storyline itself didn't bother me as much as the way it was written did. It came across as very sexist, which kind of makes me rage
