I don't think that Snape wanted to understand what Sirius was going through. He was too stuck in the past and what Sirius did with the Whomping Willow incident (and really, I can't blame Snape for being angry about that. I just wish they'd both been able to get past it, in order to concentrate on fighting Voldemort. Of course, who knows what's really going on with Snape?). But yeah, I would have liked it if Mrs. Weasley had been a bit more understanding and patient, but I guess she was acting from a place of emotion, worried about and wanting to protect Harry.
