I agree. I would like some kind of hug scene.

I think it's hard for both of them. Regina had the knowledge that her biological daughter was being raised by someone else for twelve-and-a-half years, and probably just figured she'd never get to meet her, hence her being a bit standoffish.

And for Bay, who has always felt rejected by someone or felt like she never belonged, Regina is the reason for it because she knew something was wrong and never came and got her. Bay is very insecure, and I think Regina knowing is going to be hurtful for a while, but Regina has acknowledged that Bay is her daughter.

Eventually Bay will open up more to Regina and let her in, but I think they both have a lot of healing to do with each other.
