Now you see, Koni, this is what I don't understand. You don't want to go to a soccer game because people are violent in the stands. Don't get me wrong, Koni...I absolutely love soccer! I just don't understand this. We have violence in other sports...fights in Hockey, etc. But...this fighting is done by the players. The fans enjoy the fights, but don't usually get involved. That's why the violence by the fans stands out so much, and it tarnishes the sport of Soccer in some peoples eyes.
I remember several world cups back when the English fans/team were banned from participating because the fans engaged in Hooliganism. These fans would go to the games just to start fights.
If you can show me where this takes place in any other sport...I will take Soccer off the hook.
