Yeah, that annoys me. It would make sense and be good for the plot if the boy knew and he was waiting for the guy to realize it on his own (like he said that very often the dead don't realize they are dead) but in many scenes he acts like the guy isn't dead, I don't get it.

I didn't see it coming though
and it was still a great movie. It got 6 Academy Awards nominations (including Best Picture) but didn't win any Oscar
And Haley Joel Osment's acting
And I loved Toni Collette too
