I caught last night`s season finale and thought that it was absolutely outstanding.
First of all in Hour 1: Garrett Stillmann,
Then in Hour 2: Tommy Madsen,
Spoiler:
the action really picked up as we finally got a great exploration of Tommy Madsen`s background. It was sad to see that he was used as a Guinea Pig with his blood, which obviously explains his bitterness.
I can`t believe that Rebecca`s partner was a baddie. Rebecca worked so hard to avenge him and to find out that he wasn`t who she thought he was obviously shattered her faith. Of course Tommy killing him was his way of protecting Rebecca in a wy.
Also Tommy being rejected by his son Van was pretty sad. He was looking so much to being a father to him and you can tell how much the rejection broke his heart.
At least Tommy left Van in good hands with Ray to raise him.
That car chase is one of the best ones i`ve ever seen on a TV show. It had me on the edge of my seat, especially afterwards when Rebecca and Tommy was face to face. I was like WTF! when Tommy stabbed Rebecca after almost telling her about her parents.
Finally Hauser and Lucy going into the Warden`s secret room nicely laid the foundation for future episodes with them finding the com center to track the escapees around the country.
Last night`s season finale was a great way to end the season. I really hope that Fox will pick it. We need more Alcatraz!
