I love that Chris never really changed, he remained his sarcastic bad ass self, but he also grew as a person and behaved like a man. He obviously had and still has feelings for Haley, anyone, even Dan could tell that. But he dealt with the fact that her one true love is Nathan, he respected that and he just did everythign he could to make her happy. That is how a real man would behave.
