OMG! I'm so happy and proud of them and they all looked amazing! I think they were a bit disheartened at first and thought that they weren't going to win anything (because they lost to Green Day and Gwen even BEFORE the VMA's started, and then they lost another one to Green Day) so their performace wasn't as stellar as I had hoped...Brandon was a bit too nervous at first and Dave and Mark hardly moved around at all, which they do at concerts...BUT RONNIE WAS JUST AS AMAZING AS ALWAYS!
The speech taht they did when they won the award...*sighs* I was so happy for them! Though Brandon seemed like he could care less. Ronnie was awesome about it, he thanked the fans and all that. (I think Brandon whispered that he wanted to thank Eric Roberts
I love Eric Roberts!)
There was an upset though. I honestly thought My Chemical Romnce would take everything that they were nominated for that wasn't nominated up against Green Day, namely the MTV2 award, and who got it?
Fall Out Boy. Friggin Fall Out Boy! Oh really, that song/video is nowhere near being as good as Helena! And I'm not even a big MCR fan! I just loathe Fall Out Boy because they're the epitome of every band out there that sounds just like ever other band and that's why they're famous...because the American music scene isn't into change and likes the same thing over and over again because it'll sell records.
*sighs*
My Chemical Romance gave the best performace of the night though. It was kinda like "F*** You people! We didn't win crap, but we still rock harder than anyone here!" (Yes, I just said that. They did better than The Killers, Green Day AND Coldplay. And of course Fall Out Boy. They sucked during the pre-show.)
And another thing...Coldplay didn't win anything?

They had their wives with them too, and I think Mark had his girlfriend...they're all blondes. I went to Urban Outfitters in Vegas and of course Tana wasn't there. She was probably on her way to Miami. Bought myself pretty things though (and they didn't have the shirt I wanted...poo!).
Oh! And Vegas inspired a Thread Title Idea:

That was inspired by a billboard that advertised some sort of porn show or other...but I liked it...
And the The Killers, who deserve to be honored because they just do, inspired this one:

Ok, so I saw a post where someone mentioned H/Hr having potential and since I'm going to be on an even BIGGER Killers high than I normally am becuase of last night, then I thought of this.
They're playing Vegas on Oct. 7th. I must go, even though taht means I'm being greedy because I'm arelady seeing them on Oct. 6th...
But I must go.
