I actually saw a copy of FF8 that I traded into GameTraders yesterday whilst in the shop.

I got it new for $25, traded it for $30 and saw it being sold for $100.

Luckily I picked my latest mint copy up off eBay for $35.

I think I came out ahead ??? >< sigh
