Jennifer Aniston is fed up with the man in her life. No, it’s not her boyfriend, Justin Theroux. It seems the Horrible Bosses star has been fussing, feuding and fighting with her father, legendary soap opera star John Aniston. It seems dear old dad is determined to control her life. Or at least publicly voice his unwanted opinions about it.

Reportedly, Jennifer Aniston and John Aniston, 78, are definitely not friends. John, who starred as Vic*tor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives for 20 years, won’t shut up about his daughter’s romantic life. He wants her to get married and have kids. Yeah, right, as if it’s any of his business. Jen has almost had it. Yeah. Right. It is, after all, her life. Duh.

Jennifer is also still angry that her father has publicly defended her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, who famously dumped her six years ago for Oscar-winning sex pot, Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie went on to become the proud parents of six children. Although John Aniston agrees that Brad wronged Jen, he has stated that he “doesn’t blame [Brad] for wanting a family and getting annoyed that Jen wanted to wait.” Talk about being disloyal, not to mention sexist.

“John has also blabbed that Jen needs to stop playing the field, settle down with one guy and have some kids,” reveals an insider. “His comments have driven a wedge between them.”
That’s putting it mildly. John was a no-show on July 7 when Jennifer Aniston was honored with a ceremony imprinting her handprints and foot*prints in front of Hollywood’s legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. It was an honor which soap star, John Aniston, never achieved. Jealous much, John?

Of course, John Aniston’s excuse—er—explanation is that “being a granddad would be the perfect situa*tion,” and “that he’d like for Jen to settle down with a nice Greek guy.”

Alas, his daughter is unmoved by his homespun family values hogwash since her father walked out on her and her mom when she was nine. And apparently, he’s never looked back—until now. Jen, however, remembers that time as extremely painful.

“It was pretty crappy,” she recalled in a recent interview. “I came home from a birthday party and he was moved out.”

Good grief. John Aniston should grow up. He’s a tad overdue, but even at the advanced age of 78, it’s not too late. This man obviously lived his life as he wanted, and he has never apologized for it. Nor should he. He was an adult. It was his right. His daughter is 42 years old. She has the same right. The old man should shut up and find a hobby—like chess or shuffleboard—instead of giving interviews about things which do not concern him. Like his daughter’s sex life.
