As I understood it, the problem with living in NYC and the show shooting in LA was hard to fit into her schedule. And then there's the always present money issues. I hope she comes back, though. We need Lena back on the show.

This article was pretty cool. I've never seen 24, though, so I wouldn't know which show is better and more fun to watch, but it was still funny.
