I agree that Joey and Pacey werent handled all that well in season 4 but I do think it's still better than not being able to handle your problems at all and just breaking up a la Dawson and Joey. The episodes definitely got worse and worse as season 4 went on and in the end it was obvious Joey and Pacey werent right in the timing department, but actually watching it all go down was so grating, this episode was the eptiome of it all I feel.
