I think Captain Planet was a cartoon. I vaguely remember it. Ian brought back childhood memories. I don't think I liked it that much. It was too happy and light, from what I remember.
Ohhh, I never read a single Captain America book myself btw, not really interested. Also didn't see the movie, or won't see the movie - depending on whether it already hit the movie theatres or not!
I used to read X-men though that's how I got to be more familiar with Marvel heroes. And my ultimate comics is Batman and anything Batman related, especially Nightwing (the original Robin all grown-up). Ian would have made such a great Nightwing, I know people used to name him as one of their picks for the role.
