Definitely because I haven't a clue what their relationship dynamic was. Perhaps that's intentional. More than likely though it's just the writers neglecting Aria's character as usual to focus more on her relationship with Ezra. And this is coming from someone who adores AE.

ITA. I think the writers haven't figured out a good balance between Aria and AE yet. I thought when she was doing pottery it was better balance, because she was doing her own thing/own mystery with Jenna but her relationship with Ezra was still growing.
