Yeah i agree. She got freaked out when it wasn't even her kid, but finding out her only daughter at the age of 17 is having a relationship with her former teacher. I think she would have some major issues with that. Not to mention i would be willing to bet she would call the police on him. I agree, I think she really needs to be the one to tell them and now like you said after the whole thing he won't want to make it known to everyone.
