We have had incidences where a poster will take someone's art and crop it or lighten it, edit it in some way and call it theirs or don't give credit to the original maker at all. We realize this might seem ok because your editing the art and making it different, but it still is their art if you took it and edited it. If you want something to call your own, do it with the original image, not someone else's art unless of course the maker allows you to do so.
