I felt that way too, when I saw basically everyone was going aside from Josh it made me somewhat anxious, though like you said it's probably just an over active imagination springing from how the season ended.

I don't know, I think he would. He made a joke when he called into that radio show GeekTime about not having eyebrows during the next season.
And there are always bald caps, if he did come back as an Observer. Though I don't think he will, for some reason.
