the only reason why i dont see the point in getting hopes up is usually when someone involved trolls, they give popular fandoms hopes that their ship might happen in an attempt to get them to tune in. minky is the most popular and he continues to shoot them down. it comes off like hes trying to lower everyone's expectations because he realizes if minky fans go in expecting something great and they get what the writers really planned, there will he hell to pay. atleast in him hinting at it now, we have it in our minds not to expect much.
